Lincoln just managed to erase my entry that I was still typing. Oops!
Well, both Linc and Oliver got a good night's rest last night which means so did I! I woke up without any sign of an illness! Phew! Oliver woke up happy and healthy too. Then there's Lincoln. The poor little guy is still sick. His rash is clearing up which is great, but everything else is basically the same. He sounds terrible with his runny/stuffy nose congestion and his loud barking cough. Could this be the croup again? He still is eating or drinking very little so I know his tummy is still hurting him. He's a very good sick baby though. He's been happy to play and do his usual things just needing a little extra love which I am more than happy to give! Oliver's been particularly helpful this morning with the love too! He pats Linc's head a lot saying things like "It's okay Lincoln." He also has been helping me feed him his bottle or juice by either holding the bottle or holding my arm that's holding the bottle (his favorite way of helping me do anything: cook, clean, draw, etc...he just holds my arm!)
I've been trying to catch up on my household chores this morning. I've done a lot of laundry, dishes, picked up the house, etc. None of it is all the way finished, but at least it's a start! I also got dinner on the stove so it'll be ready on time! Later today I am going back to the spa for an hour-long Swedish massage followed by a pedicure! This was my best Christmas present ever! I love John!
