It's been a fun Tuesday!  I woke up with John this morning so I could workout and shower before the boys woke up.  It felt great getting it out of the way and I was totally ready by the time the boys were up.  We had our typical breakfast of oatmeal with sides of turkey bacon (me) and bananas (Linc & Ollie) and milk (just Oliver).  At 10:30 we got in the car and drove to South Salt Lake to visit my friends at Lincoln Elem.  My good friend Gayle has been asking me to come out and see her, the rest of the faculty, and little Ahado--one of my African students.  We arrived within 20 minutes and were welcomed with great big hugs from the secretaries.  They were all excited to see us (mostly the boys).  Linc and Ollie enjoyed the attention and loved watching the fish in the office.  We made our way to the faculty room and found more friends excited to see us (it's great to be loved!).  We visited, passed Lincoln around and Oliver sorted paper clips and counted them (much to the delight of the teachers).  As I walked down the hallway I was stopped by several other people before making it to my old classroom to see Gayle.  We hugged and visited and she carried Lincoln around.  We ended up in the library where Oliver found some great animal magazines to look at and Lincoln was entertained by Karen the librarian.  We had so much fun visiting!

After a couple hours we walked out to the car and Oliver saw a tractor parked in the back of the parking lot.  We weren't in a hurry so I took him to get a close up look at it.  He was in awe, until he heard some loud dogs barking in a backyard.  He barked at them and 'played' with them (difficult with a fence) and then I decided to feed the boys so we had a little picnic in the parking lot.  The weather was so nice that I ended up taking them on a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood.  By the time we got home over 3 hours had passed and it was nap time!

I worked on some things for Young Womens and cooked a beef stew (delicious).  Later I went over to work with Heidi on our Young Womens stuff (preparations for New Beginnings tomorrow).  Now John is at an EQ meeting while I am waiting for his return so I can go to book club!
